Executive Summary The project plan is for the the forth coming Common wealth games scheduled to be held during the months of July August in 2014, in Glasgow. The official handing over will take place on the 14th of October 2010,when Delhi in India will handover officially to the city of Glasgow in Scotland, thus appointing Scotland as the Host country for the 2014 Common Wealth Games. It is to be noted that this event will be the largest multisport event ever to be held in Scotland Thus this report includes only of the opening ceremonys Schedule plan, resource allocation and the cost to be effect. 2. Project Introduction scope The recent growth of multi sports as an industry around the world means that the management can no longer be commercials. Events such as the commonwealth games, have a large impact on their communities and, in some cases, the whole country. Thus it is a must to keep in mind throughout the planning process that this is the first time the country is hosting such and event and it shall have an impact to the country. This is a service based scheduling project according to that the initial concern which I will propose will have the following scope which is needed to be completed to be successful in this events opening ceremony. Objective To find all resource on time: Accurate time estimation is vital in project management. The two main reasons for estimating time is vital as: Time estimates drive the setting of dead lines for delivery of project and also the determination of pricing of projects and its profitability can be estimated. Thus finding all resources on time is very essential to carry on the project without delay as timing is important in an event like this as it has international criticism later on. To allocate funds according to budget Allocation of funds according to budget is a vital aspect, as it is an important tool needed in running a business in a proper manner. The allocation of funds should be done in such away that each responsible person can run the area smoothly without any interruption. To schedule all ceremony event on time without any delay Scheduling all events without a delay is very important as any delay occurring can cause disruption and run to high criticism. Prior to the main event rehersaling of the event should be done. When the rehersaling is done each aspect should be rehearsed without leaving out any event. Thus the above could be avoided. Initially we analyze the location and its requirement. Location already decides and its resource should be available. Only need to identify repair and reconstruction points of it. After initial assessment all the reconstruct part and modification done by government .that mean I am not going to put its cost and allocation, Because its up to commonwealth standard achieving through the under supervisor on government and Olympic committee. Ceremony Entertainment and Events Other Ceremony entertainment and cultural and traditional events some expectation in physical equipment items, this is contributing with the one of sub contractor and service provider. Already that ceremony entertainment and event design committee proposal send to sub contractors to get quotation from them. Its basically going under the allocated budget. Because initial easements already done by entertainment and event committee. Services and Supply All other services should be contracted out to sub party. All sub contactors and their services should be evolved by physical resource evaluation committee. Food, transport, security, Entertainment an equipment supliers, electricityetc All these suppliers have to submit their proposal under evaluation committee satisfactory. Standards and Quality of services: This part should be maintained by the commonwealth country sports comate members. Their already provide the standards which have to be maintain for us. Today we celebrate his life as a as actor, singer and writer. He was married three times with 2 children that were adopted during his first marriage. He is best known for two memorable characters as a small town sheriff and defense lawyer. The Famous Andrew Samuel Griffith, Born in June 1926 and passed away in July 2012 at the age of 86. We are here today to remember his life, being a star actor and inspiring others. A performer of extraordinary talent, Andy was beloved by generations of fans and revered by entertainers who followed in his footsteps. He brought us characters from Sheriff Andy to Ben Matlock, and in the process warmed the hearts of Americans everywhere. † said Obama. Andy entertained the world, and inspired all of our lives. As we all have heard the famous theme song to the Andy Griffith show, I know at one poin t or another you have went around for days whistling the lovely tone. Andy played a role of a gentle small town sheriff, along with his best friend Don Knotts; they were like two peas in a pod in Mayberry, North Carolina.It was a top rated show in the 1960’s. After Staring in the hit The Andy Griffith Show, he stared in the 1980’s to 1990s show, in the title role of criminal defense attorney Ben Matlock. Andy first appeared on television in 1955 on the show, no time for sergeants, on the US steel hour. Andy had a love for music, starting from a young age. Even though as a baby, Griffith lived with relatives until his parents could afford to buy a home. He slept in dresser drawers for several months because they had no crib or bed for him. When he was three, his father began working as a carpenter and purchased their first home.Andy said growing up, â€Å"the fellas- and worse the gals, used to laugh at me. It seemed to me they laughed at me all the time, not with me, mind you, at me. † The happiest times he had as a child was being in his bedroom, alone, where no one could jeer or poke fun at him. When Ron Howard was 5 years old Andy inspired Ron’s life tremendously. Ron said, â€Å"His love of creating, the joy he took in it whether it was drama or comedy or his music, was inspiring to grow up around. The spirit he created on the set of The Andy Griffith Show was joyful and professional all at once. It was an amazing environment. And I think it was a reflection of the way he felt about having the opportunity to c reate something that people could enjoy.It was always with respect and passion for the opportunity and really what it could offer people in a very earthy way. He felt he was always working in service of an audience he really respected and cared about. He was a great influence on me. His passing is sad. But he lived and a great rich life. † Griffith being a fairly healthy man his first major health problem happened in 1983, when he was diagnosed with Gullain- Barre’ syndrome and he was unable to walk for 7 months, but did fully recover. In 2000 he had a heart bypass and 2007 he had surgery on his hips.Shortly after Andy had a heart attack, while he was recovering, he flew to California to speak at Ron Howard’s mother’s funeral. This is how much of a friend he was. To me Andy has been excellent, inspiring, role model. He always was inspiring others to be as best as they could, he always went above and beyond every ones expectations. Andy’s motto was, â€Å"I do not want the public to laugh at us, I want them to laugh with us. † I think that America fulfilled this in his 86 years of life. A Movie, from the Sociological Perspective

Sarah Chesno Sociology 101 November 1, 2012 Extra Credit The movie â€Å"Saw:† focuses on a madman who sees himself as a vigilante and takes justice into his own hands by torturing his victims on both a mental and psychological level. The movie opens up to the scene of two men on the outsides of a bloody victim in a dirty bathroom floor. Jigsaw’s plot was to have one man decide who shall live and who shall be the first to see death. The Jigsaw Killer showed acts of deviance by using entrapments, manipulation, and psychological and physical infliction of pain upon his victims.To elaborate on why the Jigsaw is deviant is because he likes to manipulate almost every detail in his games. He manipulates the environment so the only means to escape are through torturous games testing far beyond the limit a human being can endure. The victims are almost always drugged in some way only to wake up within an environment where Jigsaw pulls all of the strings like a puppet master. As one officer describe Jigsaw in the movie, he â€Å"liked to book himself front row seats to his own sick little games. There is one type of social class that constantly shows up in the movie and that is the middle class folks. One of the people, which is a doctor named Dr. Lawrence Gordon. During the movie the audience learned that he had a wife and small child, possibly 5 year. They resided in a house that was mansion side, making him a middle class maybe an upper class family. Another main character that was in the movie was a person named Adam, he lower-mid class.There was a scene in the movie that showed his apartment. Adam’s apartment was a little run down as from what the camera was showing. There was a mix of different races and ethnicity's in the movie. Often these victims would wake up trapped in the â€Å"games† of a genius engineer. Amanda which is white female who was shown towards the beginning of the movie who woke up contraptions attached to her head w hich the killer called â€Å"the reverse bear trap† or the â€Å"the death mask†.Another victim that went through something similar is when the Asian, who was named Detective Steven Sing had this head blown to little pieces when he was trying to go after the Jigsaw killer to bring him to justice. A little time before that happened the African American named Detective David Tapp who was trying to do the same thing by bringing the killer to justice had his neck sliced, but lived, however later on we see him again losing his life. All races such as Asian, white and African American did lose their life only because they had to play the game and decide who will be the one to go.

Hawthorne s books are inspired and fascinate to read. They are full of science fiction and tail of fantasies. The female characters have to face many challenges in their lives due to their natures. The human morals and man ambition are clear in The Birthmark and Rappaccini s Daughter on which the two stories are similar in away. The two stories appear to be similar because innocence characters have to suffer. The hiding meanings are deep within each character and in each story. The two stories maybe different; however, the moral behind the two stories are closely related. The female characters are pure at hearts and innocence just like nature. However, the male characters are like the devil that creeping upon what is natural and pure and destroy it. It is very clear to see that Hawthorne’s stories embrace the female characters and their beauties. On other hand, he reviews the males’ evil ambitions; they are only seeking for their own glories by using science in created and change nature. Indeed, without any doubt, each of the stories, the male characters caused their love ones to parish due to their evil ambitions. In both of the stories by Hawthorne, both female characters are automatically pure at heart and their beauties are an outstanding example of goddess.
